Tired of dentures? Get your teeth back.
Implant-supported dentures replace an entire arch with a single fixed bridge anchored to four to six implants — no adhesives, no slipping, no sore gums. Eat steak and corn on the cob again, and smile without a second thought.
A full arch. Fixed for good.
Implant-supported dentures — often called All-on-4 or All-on-6 — are a permanent solution for replacing an entire arch of teeth with a single dental bridge secured to four to six implants placed in the jawbone. Unlike traditional dentures, they never come out, never slip, and never need adhesive. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
At Smile Maker of Texas in Plano, full-arch cases are planned in 3D and placed and restored in our Implant Treatment Center by Dr. Young Kyu Kim, DMD — a master ceramist for 18+ years before he became a surgeon — with the final smile designed by Dr. Ritchie Beougher, The Smile Architect®. Most patients leave the surgical visit wearing provisional teeth the same day.
Savor every bite. Laugh without thinking.
The most liberating thing about implant-supported dentures is everything you stop worrying about.
- No more adhesives. Nothing messy, nothing to fumble with, nothing to fail at dinner.
- No more slipping. Your teeth are fixed to implants — they stay put when you talk, laugh, and eat.
- No more sore gums. Chewing pressure goes into the implants, not onto delicate tissue.
- Your face, preserved. Implants stimulate the bone, preventing the collapse that makes long-term denture wearers look older.
All-on-4 or All-on-6?
Both involve a minimally invasive surgery, a healing period while the implants fuse with bone, and a custom permanent bridge. Your 3D scan tells us which is right for you.
All-on-4
Four implants placed at strategic angles make maximum use of available bone — an excellent option for patients with reduced bone density who might otherwise need a graft. Immediate provisional teeth, bone preservation, and a high long-term success rate.
All-on-6
Six implants distribute chewing force across a larger area of the jaw — extra stability for patients with adequate bone, larger arches, or heavier bites. Less stress per implant means added longevity and security.
How implant-supported dentures stack up.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stability | Fixed — never slips | Can slip and move as bone shrinks | Can move; clasps stress natural teeth | Fixed — like natural teeth |
| Bone health | Preserves jawbone | Bone loss continues; facial structure changes | Bone loss at missing sites | Preserves bone at each site |
| Daily care | Brush like natural teeth | Remove, clean, soak overnight | Remove and clean | Brush and floss |
| Eating | No restrictions | Limited; adhesives | Some foods difficult | No restrictions |
| Best for | Replacing a full arch permanently | Budget-first temporary solution | A few missing teeth | One or several missing teeth |
Individual implants for each tooth remain the gold standard when only a few teeth are missing — learn more about dental implants.

Everything to know about implant-supported dentures.
What are implant-supported dentures?
A special type of denture secured by dental implants placed in the jawbone. The implants act as anchors so the denture — usually a single fixed bridge — never slips, and in the All-on-4 and All-on-6 approach it is permanently attached.
How are they different from traditional dentures?
Traditional dentures rest on the gums, move, need adhesive, and come out at night. Implant-supported dentures are fixed to implants, feel like natural teeth, preserve jawbone, and are cleaned in the mouth like natural teeth.
How many implants are needed?
Typically four (All-on-4) or six (All-on-6) per arch. Your 3D CBCT scan and bone density determine the right number.
Who is a good candidate?
Adults missing most or all teeth on an arch, current denture wearers, and patients with failing teeth. Angled All-on-4 placement often makes treatment possible even with reduced bone and no graft.
How much do implant-supported dentures cost in Plano?
Cost depends on the number of implants, the technique, and the final bridge. Your complimentary consultation includes a 3D scan and an exact, all-inclusive figure, and financing is available. About our fees.
What are the benefits?
Eating your favorite foods again, clear speech, a natural appearance, no adhesives or slipping, preserved jawbone and facial structure, and renewed confidence.
What are the risks?
As with any surgery, infection, implant failure, or nerve irritation are possible but uncommon; 3D planning, Dr. Kim's advanced training, and good home care keep success rates very high. We review your health history carefully before treatment.
Will I leave without teeth?
In most cases, no — provisional fixed teeth are fitted the same day as surgery so you smile and eat soft foods immediately.
