How long do porcelain veneers last?
With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 20 years or more. Many of Dr. Beougher's veneer and SmileLift™ cases in Plano are now 25+ years old. Good hygiene, regular cleanings, and a night guard if you grind are the keys to longevity.
How much do porcelain veneers cost in Plano?

Will my veneers look natural?
Yes. Dr. Beougher designs each veneer for your face — proportion, translucency, and subtle character — and an elite cosmetic lab crafts them in layered porcelain. The goal is a smile people notice, not veneers people notice.
How do I know if I'm a good candidate?
Healthy teeth and gums, adequate enamel, and cosmetic concerns such as stains, chips, gaps, wear, or mild misalignment make an ideal candidate. Heavy grinding, active decay, or major bite problems are addressed first. A consultation gives you a clear answer.
Does getting veneers hurt?
Preparation is minimal and done comfortably with local anesthesia; most patients report little or no sensitivity afterward. Sedation dentistry is available for anxious patients or larger cases.
Can porcelain veneers be whitened?
No — porcelain does not respond to whitening, which is also why it resists staining. If you plan to whiten your natural teeth, we do that first so your veneers are matched to your brightest shade.
Can veneers be removed?
Because a thin layer of enamel is shaped to place them, veneers are considered permanent: a veneer can be replaced, but the tooth will always need a veneer or similar restoration afterward.
Are there food or drink restrictions with veneers?
Very few. Enjoy coffee, wine, and your favorite foods. Avoid biting ice, pens, or fingernails and using teeth as tools, and wear a night guard if you grind.
What if a veneer chips or comes off?
It's rare, but it happens. Call us — a loose veneer can often be re-bonded, and a damaged one is replaced with a new custom veneer matched to the rest of your smile.
